Microdermabrasion-another BS cosmetic procedure

Is  Microdermabrasion useful to remove my lines and wrinkles?
Microdermabrasion is a BOGUS procedure devised to improve the minor skin imperfections. The basic principle of Microdermabrasion is to polish the skin. Ever since its introduction a few years ago, the procedure has been widely used in many spas and cosmetic clinics. The procedure entails the use of different types of fine crystals in a small device. The crystals are rotated at a fast speed and essentially remove all debris and dead skin cells from the superficial skin layers. The end result is a skin, which appears radiant, fresh and has a very smooth texture.
Microdermabrasion can be performed on any part of the body but is frequently used on the face. Unlike dermabrasion, it is used to treat very mild acne scars, fine lines, skin discolorations, early sun damaged skin and improve the texture of uneven skin.
Microdermabrasion can be used on all types of skin and in all races. No matter who does it or how much you pay for it, the treatment is nothing but a fraud. Do you really believe that rubbing your skin with some crystals and applying suction is going to make you look different or younger.? The best you will feel is a sensation of soft skin that may last for 24 hours. No one ever gets rid of their scars, skin blemishes or wrinkles with microdermabrasion. The procedure is done at a spa and takes 20-30 minutes. This BS procedure will cost you anywhere from $150-$250 for 30 minutes. In addition, these scam artists will make you enroll for many sessions, until their car or home is paid off. You can do the same thing at home, by washing your face with a detergent and wiping it dry and holding a vacuum cleaner next to your face for 10 mins.
Please give microdermabrasion a break. This procedure is only for the dimwit fools who have a real body image problem and have money to waste.
