Allergic skin reaction

Recently, I was hiking in the woods and got an allergic reaction from a plant. Now I have a very itchy rash and redness on my hand. Is there something I can use?

Yes, you may have developed some sort of dermatitis or an allergic reaction. Get an over the counter hydrocortisone ointment. Try it for several days- it should take the itch away in a matter of hours. In some cases, a more potent steroid like betamethasone may be required. However, I think you should first start with over the counter hydrocortisone. Will save you money and trip to the doctor, who will most likely rip you off by sending you for unnecessary tests and BS consults with other doctors.
