Can a child undergo allergy shots?

Of course the doctor will say yes, but do you think there is any child who likes needles?
There is more harm caused by forcing a child to undergo these injections than
from any allergy. The trauma can be severe because the injections are painful
and have to be done many times. You have to restrain the poor child, hold
him/her down - and all because of a therapy which has a poor success rate.
Please change your doctor if he/she recommends allergy shots for your child-
what a piece of shitty
doctor you have. if you as a parent think that allergy shots are effective for a child, you seriously need to see a shrink.
